At The Royal George we love fresh, simple cooking that speaks for itself. You can't beat favourites like our beer-battered haddock with chips & minted mushy peas, or our handmade West Country beef burger — dishes as timeless as the pub itself.

For us, it's all about using quality produce, such as the free-range Gloucester Old Spot sausages that sit alongside our mash or the 21-day aged beef we serve on Sundays. We also try to use ingredients when they're at their best seasonally, which means there's always something new to try on our specials board.

Just grazing? Our perfectly portioned sharers and snacks are the ideal accompaniment to one of our speciality beers or well-chosen wines.
